Learning Swedish and Crocheting at the Same Time

I'm feeling like Instagram descriptions are just not enough. Just like I want to share my yarn creations, I want to share the story behind making them. 

I first thought this would be a good opportunity to combine two of my hobbies–crocheting and writing– and then I realized I could even kill THREE birds with one stone and write my posts in Swedish as well! 

This feels like an incredibly ambitious project, particularly when I look back at my last sentence and realize I have no idea how to translate that killing birds idiom 😬. 

They say one of the best ways to practice a language is to journal in it. I have been less than consistent about that, so I guess I'll try it again here. 

Being bad at Swedish in front of people is so vulnerable but I was bad at crocheting once too. Maybe one day my Swedish will be as pretty as my yarn toys.
